Floor protector for acid under cart
O.K. Gang...here's my question: I know there are some floor mats that can protect your garage floor from the mystery acid spill but the products I have seen seem to be light duty and not heavy enough to stay in place without double stick tape...any other products that would work? Any that actually would netualize battery acid? Just trying to buy the right product the first time...Thanks. By the way my California Roadster uses Club Car components but I haven't determined just what yet...their paperwork says an 11hp. Motor?? The cart is fast and comes with hydraulic front disc brakes as well as the standard drum brakes...so far it's a hoot!

Re: Floor protector for acid under cart
I use a WeatherTech cargo mat from a Bronco I used to have. I love the beveled edge that keeps the wet stuff confined, It was great for the kids sleds, snowboards, etc. Once they saved me a nasty mess when the drain plug on a ice chest filled with boned deer meat popped off (only took a hose and a deck brush to clean).
You could pre-dust with baking soda for the acid. . |
