Yah, sorry about the title, it was suppose to have solenoid in it then I forgot....

Here is a picture of what it connects to.

Ah ok, that is the controller, not a voltage reducer. All is well.

That ring terminal needs to go the stud on the solenoid that has the large black cable boot,
not the red one going to the controller.

That studs cable is from the + battery and that is where that ring goes.
That is the location in red on the prior attachment.

Just as cgtech stated way back.

Don't forget to put the nuts on the two small studs!
Then you will be good to go!

For anyone following. I ended up replacing the controller and it did not fix the problem. Solution was frozen brushings in thier guides. Some lube and we're back in business.
