Well I'm back, got batteries put in. Not new ones but do have 50,1 volts.
The solenoid will not click and no reverse buzzer.
Where is the first place to look ? This is a G 29 ydre 2007.
Does the switches work off of the controller ?
Thanks for the help.

Solenoid is activated by the Controller, not the pedal. Also check for power through tow/run switch. Does solenoid click when put in "run"? Click ever?

Cg as I have stated in lots of places, I'm dumb as a rock on some of these golf cart( and other things). The batteries are old, so I charged them 2 or 3 times. When out today and it started to work like it should. Don't know what happened but it's running. Not very fast, but running. The problem I have now is, It has a noise in the rear end. Not when coasting, but under half power. Have not had time to look very deep into it. If you have anything to check, just let me know.

Thanks
Sonny

What's the advantage of going from the original 4 12 volt battery set up to the 6 8 volt battery set up??

More lead/capacity = less depletion between recharges. Less depletion between charges = longer battery lifespan. Plus longer range.
