Hello again, i know i havent been on in awhile, just havent had the time. I worked on this cart, the aforementioned 92 g8 yamaha, and succeeded in this: the electric board was covered in sticky goo, like dried soda X10. Used some electric cleaning spray, no go. So, i bypassed the 2 cylinoids( or resistors, or whatever i really don't know...) and the board, connecting the positive power cable to the f/r switch. Then i took the negative wire from the board to the motor, unhooked from the board, and touched to the negative battery terminal. The cart proceeded to roll backwards on its own power, i had it in reverse. After moving the switch to forwards it went forwards roo. Does this mean the electric board and/or the cylinoids are bad???
