Which batteries??
I will have to replace my battery's before summer, and was wondering what everyone's thoughts are on the US battery vs Trojan battery's? I currently have 6 8volt Trojan T875 battery's in now I stopped at a local golf cart shop the other day and they sell US battery's. I looked at the battery comparison page and here is what I found:
T-875, 295 Min @25A, 117 Min @56A, 170Ah @20Amps, 63 lbs US-8VGC, 337 Min @25Amps, 128 Min @56A, 170Ah @20A, 64.5 Lbs. Does this mean the US battery has a faster discharge rate? or it will stay charged longer? I would rather have some opinions from here then the guy selling the battery's. thank you!!! |

Re: Which batteries??
In my experience, the US batteries have been "messier" batteries, juice on the tops & corrosion (that's really hard to eliminate) forming under the connection terminals. As far as run time, have never really noticed a difference.

Which batteries??
I’ll be buying US batteries in the near future. Local store has them at a good price so I’m going to give them a shot.

Re: Which batteries??
I put the US batteries in mine last year. I also bought a DPI charger at the same time. The DPI can be set to the type of batteries you have.
So far so good. |
