Default Re: LSV (Street legal) insurance

I got my street legal Club Car Villager LSV insured thru Geico (underwriter is Foremost insurance) for $365/year in California.

It indeed took a few calls to get the right person on the line that understood, but they have an entire group that does street legal golf carts.

Many variables, like driving record, multi-vehicle, current driver safety course, etc., but the $500 to $800 rate cited earlier in this thread for street legal carts in FL is pretty much the norm. I have heard one or two people who were paying a good bit more, but their carts were pretty high value carts and that may have been the reason for the higher premium.
