Default 2000 txt I've tried everything I know

Older txt ( shifts by my leg) will not move. I've tested motor works when power is applied manually. Tested controller. Checks out fine got desperate started throwing parts at it new controller new solenoid new ITS . I'm missing something small like I've ohm every wire I can find no breaks. Now I have 36 volts at motor and the signal starts at roughly 8 and drops to 0 volts. That's correct isn't it?

Does the solenoid click when you try to go? There should be 36v between the 2 small solenoid terminals when you try to go. This will make the solenoid click (close)

If it’s a series, check the mechanical f/r.

Will do , I have checked it once but not sure what the readings should be , micro switches checked out. When I checked the motor I applied a + and - to the motor . What sends a ground to this normally? I understand that the polarity is just reversed but I have power on both sides of the motor . Thank you for your help by the way

Use that link to confirm drive type.

I’m not one of the experts, but when you said it lost reverse first, that made me think it might be the f/r. The contacts can get worn or the mechanism itself can get loose. The motor doesn’t care about the direction. It’s handled by the f/r. If the solenoid is clicking, it’s not in the small wires or the micro switches. All of this is assuming it is a series cart.

So after checking the f/r switch very thoroughly I'm stumped again. Its sending signal to the motor but won't move. But when I put power to it manually it works???

Did you confirm it is a series cart?

It sounds like a typical DCS controller failure. Go here to ID the drive system type by reading the description and following the flow chart > https://www.cartsunlimited.net/upgrade-suggestions.html
