48V Battery Kill Switch

I'm late to the game but I use a Blue Sea 6006 battery switch on my 48 volt cart. I use it daily to power down my cart and avoid any phantom losses ... especially when parked for long periods during the winter.

Specifications are shown in the attachment (300 amp continuous, 500 amps for 5 minutes, 775 amps for 1 minute and 1500 amp for 10 seconds) ... which is much higher rated than anything that you or I see with our carts.

As an example with my heavy duty work cart I have measured 100 amps as a typical load, 200 amps with heavy load / higher speed and 300 - 400 amps under extreme short term conditions. This switch will work for your expected amperage draw too.
