Finishing Alltrax Upgrade to G2
I am almost done with my 1986 g2 Yamaha upgrade having replaced everything that makes it run. Wiring the Alltrax 48500 controller and 180 solenoid is the last thing I have to do. What I can't figure out is how to connect the two wires that come from the solenoid to the controller. Do I just disconnect the red & black from the cart wiring harness, and then connect the solenoid to the to the controller? Attached is an Alltrax wiring diagram and also a photo (kindly supplied to me by ACCLR8N this morning). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
