Default Uneven Back Flip Seat

I bought a used golf cart and noticed that the flip seat is crooked. Any idea how to fix this? I wonder if it was a bad installation?

Looks like it was horseshoed in. Issue appears to be the two verticle supports in your second picture are a little too high. But it also look like where they are connected to the seat bottom is bent.

Do you think I should take it apart and retry?

Not clear in pics but can you unbolt front and rear section(pivot) of seat/platform in the down position shown. Then move tab on front section that bolt goes thru to the outside of tab on rear section.

Appears where the tabs on hinge where bolt goes thru are backwards.
Tab for front section of platform should be on outside of tab for rear section of platform. This may be causing front section to buckle, bow up causing it to be uneven.

Do you have original install directions that you can refer too? 😊

I got the cart used and it came like this. I am trying to see if I can fix it without having to buy new rear seats. Are rear seats pretty much universal? It does appear that there is a bend and the the bars attaching from base of cart to seat is higher than it should be. I will attempt to take it apart and play with it. Hoping I can fix it instead of having to buy new seats.

That seat is made by RedHawk. If you were to get replacement parts for it, they would need to be from RedHawk aka Rhox.

Took it apart and I’m wondering if they installed the wrong frame. See pics.

Wonder if they just sell the bottom frame.

May have just had lots of weight on the back. Either some "big" people standing jumping on the rear footboard, or lots of people stacked on back there. Footboard pulls down the side rails which pull down the side of that stationary platform and you've got that bend. Seen it many times with our rental fleet of carts. No matter how often we tell everyone they're designed for 4 people, they try to get 8 onboard - so they don't have to rent another cart.

So you think it’s the sides that are low and need to somehow get moved up and not really the middle that’s too high? Do you know how to fix this?
