08 DS IQ Whining/Squealing in Rear
I have a 2008 DS IQ that has a whining, squealing noise coming from either the motor or transaxle. Performance is not affected at all The cart has all factory parts, no lift. The noise is present from about 3mph to full speed and while coming to a stop, whether braking or coasting. It changes pitch when the Regen kicks in. I changed the differential fluid and that didn't help. Is it most likely the bearing in the motor? Wheel bearings?

Probably some brush noise from the motor and is not uncommon on Sepex carts.

So I guess the only way to quiet it would be to replace the brushes?

Unless it is an issue, I would ride it out. I have had many do that...

They sire have. Then sometimes you only here it when hard throttle or coasting.

As an update, a new bearing in the motor fixed this noise. Quiet as a church mouse now.
