Default What are you using for 12v acc power source?

I'm trying to decide whether to use a 48v to 12v power reducer, or a separate 12v accessory power source to power some LED head, tail, turn signal lights(D/T Phantom Lighting Kit) & a small stereo, a pair of 6.5in self powered Pyle Bluetooth speakers, which will be played at low to moderate volume only when the cart is in motion.

What are y'all using for a separate 12v accessory power source?

What are y'all using for a 48v to 12v power reducer?

What are the preferred ways of wiring / switching?

TIA
Ed

What are y'all using for a 48v to 12v power reducer? A standard 48->12v converter (the blue rectangular style). If you have a Precedent you can install a factory style right into the harness

What are the preferred ways of wiring / switching? Precedent is a harness style (P&P) and a DS is mounted wherever you desire. Mine was switched, but when I installed the new stereo I did not have a place to land the 12v constant memory wire as I have a 58v lithium pack so I made it "Hot" all the time and have had no problem in over a year and a half

TIA
Ed

Where would the "factory style" power reducer be located on a 2010 Precedent 6x8v?

Is there a plug/connector for the "factory style power reducer" already installed in the factory harness?

Thanks for your patience with the newbie questions.

Yes, it is located under the front cowl above the suspension when you look up from under the front. Here is an OEM style that is P&P
