Default 1999 Elec CC DS stops running.....

I have a 1993 Club Car DS that has brand new batteries and has run problem free for 5 years. All of sudden started noticing a little "studder" in the power and then one night it just quit. Checked the Vdrive accelerator, cleaned all the connections, and put it back together and then noticed no click from the solenoid. Replaced the solenoid and it ran great -- in fact faster than before for about 20 mintues then quit. Nothing. Let it cool for about 10 minutes and it runs again. Anybody have any ideas?

Your title says !999 and the description says 1993. Please post the model number for other members to assist you better.

5 years with no problems is pretty lucky, you know!

It's a 48 volt. By resistor, do you mean the resistors on the accelerator (vdrive) device?

A resistor cart is one with the coils near the back of the battery box.

Check for a loose wire/bad connection at the key switch, V Glide micro switch, and the small solenoid posts.
