Default Navitas 5kw motor fitment in stock height DS

Hello all. Looking for advice on how to squeeze a 5kw Navitas motor into a stock height (18"tires) DS. I've heard of guys cutting out the shock mount (and shock) And just using the leafs. Not sure how ride quality would be. Also cutting and welding new shock mount. Bit haven't really seen pics of how it's done. I'm not a welder, but could potentially have someone do it, just need ideas. Also since I will be putting such a powerful system in it, I don't want to weaken anything unnecessarily. Please share your builds if you've done this already...I've searched and haven't had much luck. Thanks!

P.s. 2 seater now, but will be putting in rear seats eventually.

Find an axle from a 08+ precedent or DS. I think it was 08 and up anyway... can’t remember now right off the top of my head. They moved the center chunk of the transmission over about an inch and a half to clear the longer motor cans they started using on the Precedents.
Or start cutting stuff.

I used the 4K motor instead. It’s tight but it fits.

Do you like the 4kw performs? What's your battery setup? Wonder if it will do 72v?
