Broken wheel spindle?
I have what I believe to be a 1996 Carry-All with an unknown manufacturer's lift. I broke the front right wheel spindle Saturday while rounding up a loose bull. I can't see how the spindle could be removed from the suspension arm. If that is indeed the case, and since I don't have enough info to order a replacement arm, what would the easiest & least expensive fix be? Can anyone identify the lift? Thanks in advance.

Re: Broken wheel spindle?
I cant help with the lift kit but I would bet a repair of that would almost cost what a new lift kit would be.
Interesting is that it made almost a text book example of reversal bending fatigue failure. With that in mind remember the other side has been handling the same stress that this one has so what ever a repair would cost you may end up doing it twice. |
