Default 2017 RXV occasional jerk start

I bought my first electric cart a few months ago its an Ezgo RXV 2017.

It has an intermittent problem when starting. Under normal conditions I press the go pedal and after about 1/2 in travel there is a click ( the brake letting off) and the cart accelerates up to speed. Between 0 and 8 times per 100 starts instead of the brake click there is a sudden jerk and the cart then accelerates normally. Sometimes when the jerk is very severe it is preceded with a "groan" as if the cart ere trying to accelerate against the brake. Here is a video of an experiment I did in my garage:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dbl4GQgHeaY
I found that if I pushed to go pedal just far enough to here the click of the brake I could lift my foot without moving more than a couple of inches. This allowed be to perform the hundred plus tests need to cause a failure. I found that I got most failures whenI waited about 40sec between tests.

Here is a video of what happens when jerks:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7EzoWAYywM

The jerk here was not the most severe. I suspect severity depends upon how hard I press GO.

The dealer who sold me the cart could not reproduce the problem. There was one code "High pedal disable fault" which may be significant but without a CAN bus analyzer that records continuous activity I doubt it is useful.

Default Re: 2017 RXV occasional jerk start

I have the same issue -- 1-4 jerky starts on a round of golf. My cart is a 2014 RXV. Cart is northern usage - 5-6 months usage per year. Purchased May 2020 and didn't see the issue until I had it a few months.

Replaced the accelerator switch - No effect - still jerks.
Replaced the accelerator position sensor - No effect - still jerks.

Drained and replaced gear oil in differential/Electric motor drive - A little quieter, but still jerks.

Removed, disassembled, and inspected auto brake. looked like new, brake appeared to work freely. Added a small amount of high temp anti-seize to motor /brake coupling - No effect - still jerks.
