BY the way. Can you remember which cable you used. The one from carb to the governor or the cable from the govenor to pedal, to use for the staight line cable from pedal to carb??

You can just leave slack in the cable at the carb, but it will still go fast just not get there as quick. In fact the last 1/3 or so of carb throttle does very little, most stock carts never use all of it. I gps'd mine and it only made a tiny difference when the rpm were quite high, maybe .5mph or something, and I have my governor drilled on it since day one in '99. I had to take the pedal off and move it up a notch on the spline to get enough cable travel.

Pedal cable is only one that will reach.
