Move rear end backwards ????????
Do I have enough slack to move the rear a couple of " `s backwards ? I am almost finished with my homeade lift. All I have to do is drop the front of the rear swingarm down. I lifted the back about 6 1/2 ". I will get more pics posted soon. My cart is a G9.

Re: Move rear end backwards ????????
I was wanting to move the mounts back that hold the rear swingarm but after looking at it for a good while I think the brake cables will limit me.

Re: Move rear end backwards ????????
I am sure longer cables are available for the work carts .... that is the way it is with ezgo but, you will have to wait for a Yami expert to advise for sure

Re: Move rear end backwards ????????
Yes its easy to move the rear end back on Yamahas. There are short cut ways to do it but I weld in a new cross member and mounting brackets for the swing arm, then cut the brake rod in half, extend it back and weld a new tab on the cross member for the brake lines to hook up.
