99 CC Looses Spark
I have a 99 gas cc ignitor-rev limiter was removed before I got it and the wire going to the coil kill is disconnected. It will start when cold then run for 10 sec then shut off. Since the kill has been disconected should it not run all the time. I have 2 differend spark testers. One is inline and thats how i know it looses spark, but if i put a grounding spark tester on this unit after it stops sparking then that tester shows that it is sparking. I am a little perplexed
New to the forum been a little while since working on these. Last edited by uniqueturf; 10-13-2010 at 02:15 PM.. Reason: spelling |

Re: 99 CC Looses Spark
Coil / ignitor unit almost certainly. Classic symptoms. Do a search and decide for yourself.

Re: 99 CC Looses Spark
Same problem with a 2001, replaced coil/ignitor and good to go
