night time driving, need help quick
Gonna be using my cart to follow the kids around trick-or-treating tonight and am worried that keeping the lights on while not steady driving is going to kill the battery.
I think I remember someone mentioning there was an easy way to make a cart like mine idle instead of shutting off when stopped? Any help before the eve would be greatly appreciated. |

You could wire up front/rear Marker-Lites,Then just leave them on,they don't draw much, they even have them in a single LED that is about 3/4" diam. and very bright.Hope this helps.

I did think about that but I would really like to be able to keep the head lights on the whole time for safety and to see the kids.

Re: night time driving, need help quick
What i would do is put your battery on a slow charger to fully charge it up for tonite.
Or if you have the room, is put another battery in parallel, pos - pos & neg - neg, you wont need heavy gauge wire for this as weve done it before. These may be the cheapest ways other than running leds & mounting them |

Im late on this too but, i would put in a optima red, blue, or yellow top battery and do away with those old school acid batteries.
