Default 12 mph 03 DS

12 mph is all I can get out of my stock DS. I just changed my drive belt, filter, oil and spark plug. Is there some simple things I can to to get a few more mph? I'll also be climbing steep hills down here in SC. Any suggestions? thanks!

Well bad news is usually speed and torque don't go hand and hand.
Increase speed , loose torque.
Do U know how many RPM's U running at WOT , Max recommended is 3400.

CPP and other site sponsors also sell torque springs , clutch milling ...etc.

Don't know the RPMs. How do I determine that? NOthing has been done to mod CC and I assume it's factory standard. Probably will stay with torque over speed if one is to suffer. Right now CC climbs the steep paved paths fine. I plan to build unpaved path and may have to bump up to more aggressive tire.

thanks for the help.

Use a Tachometer , put the cart in maint mode (with front scotched)
then measure at WOT , it will probably be less than 3000 , factory for FE 290 engine
is 2700.
