snowmobile engine in 1990 club car

I bougt a 1990 club car with the old kf82 flat head and the oil slpasher was broken off so it siezed. any way I have a rotax 583 sled motor that i am putting in. I want to use the secondary clutch off my sled But its so big it will hit the axle. So im thinking of maybe grinding down the axle tube to make clearance, im not even sure if this is posible yet cuz i havent pulled out the transmission yet. Or im thinking of putting in a jack shaft to raise up the secondary and run a silent chain down the the transmission. I am aware that it was CCW spinning motor so all i gotta do is mount my motor back wards. So if any one has done this before and has any input it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

try posting this in the big block or offroad forum you,ll get more imput.......what are you going to do with the kf-82???? i,m in desperate need of the head and am willing to pay for it and any shipping if your interested let me know..........thanks much..................................
