Looks like my suspicion was right, Both coils were bad. I switched one out of another cart and it's been running for 2 days now what a pita. invalidsession thanks for the info i will try them next time. But for now i returned both of the other cois for replacement,wish me luck.Thanks for the help guys

I had the same issue. I changed the ignitor and that was the problem. I got it for $16. Turns out, it is the same one for a John Deere lawn mower.

Round 2 or is it 3, Just got a replacement coil and guess what it's not any good either. It lasted a few seconds like the other 2. Guess I'll keep sending them back until I get a good one.

They look just like the old one and the application calls for the part number given. Sure seems odd this is happening.
