Ground cable question
Is the cable that goes from the top of the motor to the frame a ground cable? Mine is missing, but my cart still runs just fine. My dad has the same cart and his is in place. If it is running fine, do I need to replace it or am i good to go. I I do need to replace it, does it need to be immediate as we are camping and a long way from a parts store. Thanks.

Re: Ground cable question
yes it is a ground cable. its not needed, but it is. the cart is grounded to the frame and then via all other bolt to frame things. this is a guarented ground from engine to frame. get you a 2ft section of say 6 or 4 gauge, use 2 ring connectors, and the electrical portion will be happier! cost you around 10 for parts!

Re: Ground cable question
just rember electrical follows the path of least restance! meaning it will go to a bigger cable before a smaller cable!
