Default Mounting Fuel Pump

Does the fuel pump have to be mounted in a specific direction? I may have to relocate mine.

I don't believe it matters much, I've seen them mounted on the gas tank,on the v-twin motor and the body , I would try to keep it pretty much level with the pulse line hook up and as close to the motor as possible, hope this helps

i think the most important thing is the height of it and i the distance from carb i mean you don,t want it somewhere that you need 3 ft of pulse line and fuel hose................................

Keep the pulse line as short as possible, keep the pump as low as possible, and keep it away from heat as much as possible! Lots of possibles eh! Heat is the one thing to keep it away from. You can fabricate a heat shield if necessary.
