Need help with my 97 ezgo dcs
I have a 97 ezgo dcs 36 volt that runs a little over half speed. I have a Alltrax 300 amp controller, hd solenoid, new napa 75 amp batteries. All the wiring is in good condition. Battery pack test good. Does anyone have any ideas?

I'm not up on the dcs carts, but I can tell you that 75 amp batteries aren't going to do it! Now, I believe your controller is programmable. It sounds like you have the half speed reverse option entered for both forward and reverse. Someone else will be along shortly that knows these controllers well, that can get you on the right track!

Re: Need help with my 97 ezgo dcs
Before the stock controller had burnt up, it had Trojan batteries. Batteries were bad and I replaced with napa batteries because I Heard they were good batteries so we installed them. I went with a non programmable 300 amp alltrax controller with a 200 amp HD solenoid.

The NPX controller is for stock carts, is your cart modified?

No bone stock Scottyb . I've called Alltrax about 3-4 times. Do you think it might be the batteries? I haven't changed a thing besides the parts I listed. I haven't adjusted a thing on the cart.Thos is driving me nuts!!

The next thing to check would be the throttle input signal. Throttle input voltage changes with the Alltrax but the test is the same. Post your findings here.
