2008 YDRE Electric No Reverse
I have a 2008 YDRE cart that quit going into reverse. When switched to reverse, it actually stays in forward for about 10 seconds then goes dead until the switch is returned to the forward position and allowed to set for a few seconds. Runs really great and strong forward as long as I want to, but keeps acting up when placed in reverse. Any Ideas? Also, reverse beeper does not come on and it is a rocker switch for forward and reverse. JQ

Actually I replaced it with a toggle switch. Seemed to help for a bit, but no reverse at all now.

could be your wiring of the "new" switch or a blown controller.

I have a 2008 Yamaha 48 volt Jw2-1 will not move in forward or reverse. no reverse . checked accerllator switch tow switch and ignition all ohm out goodcart has a moric controller. no voltage going to control terminals on solenoid. but what strange is that between red measurethe large terminals volt meter reads 51 volts take volt meter one lead black and one lead to other terminal not good on puter sorry
