97 TXT Shuttle Engine Spins but Cart won't Move

Yes. Remove the snap ring and put the drum on back wards. Then hand thread the castle nut onto the axle and use the drum as a slide hammer to pull the axle

Nice tip on the slide hammer Scottyb . It worked like a champ. It was the axle, see the picture below, that's suppose to be one piece, huh!!! I've ordered new axle and should be back up by next weekend!! Once again you guys have bailed me out, Thanks.

And it broke cleanly.. How it broke before the hub stripped is a small miracle.. But glad you found your problem..

I know this is an old thread, but what do you mean by a spun hub? and how do you fix it?

My 95 motor obviously spins but wheels are not turning and I am trying to figure out the first step of what to look for?
