I just got the cart and its stock now. Im looking for the biggest 12" rim/tire combo that will not stick out of the sides very much and that wont rub but havent had much time to look it up. what are yours? they look nice.

I wouldnt recommend going any steeper than 10.5:1, or the performance will suffer alot. with the controller set to max, the top speed should be near 30mph.. The controller is less than 300amp, it gets a good workout even at 10.5:1.

Thanks for the advice. As for rims and tires iv read the 14" with 205/40-14 tires will work in stock RXV. Any truth to that ? Sorry for all the questions but I'm coming from a long marriage of CCs .... Thanks a lot Guys.

Gears Are pretty simple to install. I've done a few rxv's with the 6 to 1 gears and 205/65/10 tires and set to 19.5 mph we average 36-37 mph and the take off power suffers and the brake suffers but it can be done

I have 12" wheels with 22" tires. My cart runs 25 mph and the problem with the cart at top speed is that it is not stable. I think a lot of it is my wheels. I think I am going to change to a 14" wheel with a low profile tire and then lower it. After that I MIGHT change the gears. You would be taking your life into your own hands if you could bet my cart to run 35 mph with the current configuration.

This cart is not lifted. I think the tires are actually 205x30x14 and are 20-21 inches tall or thereabouts.

Is it similar to changing a rear end in a car or truck? I told my local guy I was just going to do it myself and he said not to mess up the AC motor and is trying to scare me out of it.....any tips that may help?

ya, unhook your battery pack first, and use two wrenches while removing the cables on the motor.

haha Thanks, I just didn't know if there was something other than the basics when it comes to the RXV. Iv been a CC guy for years and have never worked on the AC carts. Normal unhooking of battery pack and take apart rear end will do?
