I did a custom camo wrap on a cart last year. Was pretty easy. You have to take your time and go slow, but it can be done. As you can see I had some left over so I wrapped a few extra things.

Our cart is torn down as we speak. The decision is between a new body of a custom color, which we found out wont be available till the end of Oct, a wrap or paint. Which ever you do, I would tear it down and pull the body off. Took me 2 hours by myself to tear down our club car.

mazdawg,

If we go with a wrap, I have a guy a half mile down from my shop that i will let do the whole thing. Its well worth it for me to let an expert do it.

Can you post more info? I'm considering either this (camo), or plasti-dip.

I'm concerned with the vinyl "sticking" around concave curves, and also how you "hide" the seams?

Also, where to buy..

Most kits are around $200-$225 ($225- $250 with shipping) dollars and to have it professionally done was more. Painting wasnt an option for me, I had to go with the wrap to cover all the scratches and dings my body had in it.

Painting probably will be cheaper but if the body wasnt isnt perfect than it does you no good since you will still see all the scratches and dings.

Im not sure about other wraps but i did learn alot about camo wraps so if you go with that stick with mossy oak. They require that whoever sells there product to use the best vinyl the 3M makes so it doent matter who you get it from because they all have to sell the best quality stuff, that way you can really search for price. I found a good vender who sold 60 sq. ft. for the same price everyone else was selling 40 sq. ft. I wrapped it with about 20 sq. ft. left over so i can use it on something else of accent something like BEER BUGGY did.

eflyguy there is really no way to get rid of the seems but with it being camo, you cant even see them. My only suggestion is that you alway start with it bottow pice so if you run something across it you wont peel it up (im sure its common sense to most but my frien didnt think of that and we had to redo a small section. I used windex cut with water to apply mine. Spray the windex on the piece you are doing and once you have it where you want it, use the scraper and push the water out from under it. Then when its down you can use a heat gun or hair dryer to cure to glue but if you dont have either you can just do the whole cart and leave it in the sun for a full day. Thats what i ended up doing so i didnt over heat the wrap and melt it, i didnt trust myself enough
