Re: Tell me if this is worth fixing up....
I'd do it. But I wouldnt do anything it really doesnt need to run. then, AFTER YOU HAVE IT RUNNING, you can decide what you want to do with it then, eg re body, wheels, or just sell it. IMHO......

Re: Tell me if this is worth fixing up....
I dont see that you said you had a charger either, so you will need one of those. If you want to do it right, get a set of 6-6v batteries. You wont be happy with 3-12 volts. You could get a used charger on ebay. Repair to that body needs to be done with bondo and possibly some patching, not fiberglass ^^. Ezgo marathons have steel bodies.
Although, I do agree you might be in the cart around $1K by the time you are all done, but then again, you will have a redone cart with lots of new items including batteries. Pretty hard around my area to get a cart with new batteries, painted body, good seats, etc for $1K.... |

Well I just got off the phone with a local repair shop, his recommendation was to not dump any $ into it

Re: Tell me if this is worth fixing up....
The cart definitely is a good base to work off of, but it may take more than $1000 to get it going properly (batts, charger, etc.) and the floorpan could get worse if not fixed properly by welding in new sections...
You could definitely flip it on craigslist for a few hundred bucks as it sits now... |
