Re: yamaha performance parts
i just got done welding a atv muffler on my g9 un fortunatly i cant find the battery charger for the camera, it turned out great and sounds exactly like an atv i used a muffler off a honda clone called a jackel it was a 110cc motor with a 3/4 in let and the head tube fit right inside the stock g9 exhaust so we welded it up and sounds great

Re: yamaha performance parts
Ok, I feel stupid but here goes anyways.... I just cut open my old G9 muffler to do the same mods as The New Guy, but not sure what I'm supposed to do from here. After cutting open the "window", am I supposed to be removing both internal plates? If I install a new 1" exhaust pipe, I assume I should run it all the way in replacing the old one?

Re: yamaha performance parts
I ran the new 1" tail pipe all the way up and drilled 3/8" holes (3 or 4) thru where the pipe is between the 2 plates. Sounded great, ran good with a K&N on the carb, with a .044 - .046 diameter main jet.
