I did this, but for a different reason. It would work for you.

I really like that! Are the two bolts holding the hinges strong ehough for two big passengers? It appears the foot rest offers support as well. I also like the "wrap around" tube steel, which looks safer during sudden take offs.

I've had two guys in excess of 470 lbs total back there and you wouldn't even know it was modified.

Yes, I used lightning hole 90 degree angle galvanized metal to lay on the rear cross member. I cut away part of the rear cross member to allow for the lower bolts to clear and I cut away sections of the upper hinges too for the mounting bolt head to clear as well.

For me, I needed the 14 or so inch clearance for my camper when the cart is in the back of my pickup. But this mod would certainly give plenty of access to batteries installed in the bagwell.

The wraparound frame came with it when I bought it last month. Never actually seen it before, but it is certainly safer than the one on my RXV. I really like it. It does help with the gas cart since taking off is more uncontrolled than with an electric cart.

For future reference, Redhawk, a wholesale supplier out of Maryland sells the dual flip rear seat. Similar to the one shown by branson but no additional ledge under the seat back.
To buy, you will have to go through your local dealer.
