Need for the brakes I have found pictures but want a list with part numbers

Me, too. 1982 Marathon. I'd settle for ANY information available, user guide, service manual, parts list. I'm not even sure how to drive it! The instructions on the dash about accelerating and then coasting makes no sense, at least to me.

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know where to find a part's list, but I can tell you to listen to them on the driving method. Your cart uses resistor coils to control the speed, and they get red hot like a stove eye when you drive the cart at less than full speed. Drive it slow for very far, and bad things are gonna happen. My wife once set the woods on fire and burned up the motor by driving slow while looking at pine straw.

The cart is made to run at full speed. Run it full speed, and if you need to go slower, do it by taking your foot off the pedal and coasting until you lose speed, then push the pedal again. Look at the speed control as just a way to take off without a sudden jerk, not a way to drive slow.

So it looks as if progress is made in a series of "swoops". The resistor thing makes sense, so I'll start doing that. It'll look kinda funky, but I live in a funky neighborhood. Thanks for the information.

You gotta do the "swoops" only when you want to go slower, like driving on a woods road with lots of bumps.

If you are on a smooth road, just run her full speed and there won't be a problem. They were designed to run wide open. Its when you run at a constant slow speed that it gets hot.

Run it slow for about 10 seconds and then jump off and look at the coil. You will see for yourself. Good luck with it!

Are you sure the resistor coils are that fragile? Getting cherry red isn't necessarily damaging. Old stove eyes and oven heating elements, electrical dryer elements, etc. are designed to get cherry red. I don't have an answer, but driving that way will put more wear on the throttle wiper board.
