OK. Went home at lunch. Still charging (over 12 hrs.). Checked voltage at the charging terminal. Showing 41v. ???

Your batteries should be approaching full charge. Does your charger have an amp meter? If so the current should be cut back by now. The heavier jumpers have less voltage drop while charging and the charger has to get the battery bank voltage up because the few millivolts of drop by the smaller jumpers has been reduced. Keep an eye on them though. Overheating, excessive gassing are bad signs something is amiss. Batteries are probably getting more charge than they are used to.

It does have an amp meter and shows very close to 0. It has for a while now but no heavy gasses and absolutely no heat issues at all. I just need to quit sweating everything!

The voltage automatic chargers typical cutoff at is in the 44V to 46V range for a 36V pack.

Only 41V after 12 hours of charging is mighty low.

What charger are you using?

Do a quick check on the batts now or under charge ...... is one lower than the rest? What do have for all 6 individually?
