Post Yamaha G22

I have a 2002 Yamaha G22E G max The Drive Electric. My question is I am only getting Voltage on The Black negative Large post of the Solenoid coming from the Battery. The big Red wire coming from controller positive to solenoid has no voltage. No wires have voltage except for the Big Black from battery.. To find out more Read my Latest threads to see the story

Thanks,

Matt

It would be helpful to post the link to the threads in question.
Also need better info on which cart you have:
2002 model years will be a g-19
2003-2006 g-22 you could have a g-22 built in 2002 but would be called 2003
2007 up the drive

When I lift up the white seat and Im reading the battery acid warnings and stuff, It says on a white sticker.

Year 2002
Model G22E

That is the Model. It has a Run/Tow switch and an F&R Switch in the Dash.

Matt, is this the same G22 that you towed backwards in the run position and had to change the motor on? If I missed a post (there are several and hard to follow),sorry, but most likely the controller is damaged. Do you have a Yamaha dealer local? For shop minimum (40.00 to 45.00) they should be able to read the controller for fault codes or even use a Zr-1 test harness to diagnoss the problem. There are just to many vairables here to diagnoss. Good Luck.

Do you know where I could get a ZR1 Tester? Is that the right name?

Hopefully they are not costly.

Very expensive for a one owner fix. It would be less expensive to buy an infered reader and PDA. Where you located?
