I agree, maybe get a billet badge engraved with something unique, I got mine engraved with my nickname and it looks great "WEIRY" and different to everyone else

Thanks for the comments! The tear down continues....my frame is in good shape, except for the battery rack. I thought about just painting it, then I thought maybe power coating would stand up to the acid better, than I saw an aluminum rack. Does aluminum really hold up better to acid? I know aluminum won't rust. What to do ..??

Just fix or replace your existing rack with metal, it is cheaper and easier to fix. Yes the batteries will corrode the aluminum ones as well.

Santa came to see me today....He was driving a brown truck,delivered a purple box,but it was all harley orange inside!! Merry Christmas and hello 500 Amps!!!

Repair your battery tray and then spray it with the rattle can of bed liner from AutoZone. That stuff is like spraying plastic on anything, tuff as nails.
