Default 48 volt CC no reverse sometimes

Batteries all read fine changed motor back to the factory motor and now sometimes reverse won't work at all or if it does work it's very jerky , any ideas ? I've cleaned the forward and reverse termanials .

There were two (very) different 48 volt drive systems manufactured in '98. You'll have to identify which it is; based on the information provided HERE.

Its in the F/R switch, either bad connection or the last micro switch (closest to the rear of the cart) is bad. The jerking is throwing me off a bit, as usually there would be no jerk. Cart is old enough that motor brushes are worn out and could cause your issue.
