Re: 1998 ezgo txt please help
ok, I'm confused...... are we helping the OP or not?
From my experience (and yes I have the technical experience on Golf Carts to give my informed opinion), I would think that the batteries are at issue. the OP is giving a low voltage reading and stating with the cart on the ground the wheels don't turn, but with the wheels off the ground, they do. I would venture an educated guess that if he were to alligator clip the test leads to the batteries while it is on the ground and try hitting the pedal, he would see a significant drop in voltage. All of that being said....... Scotty I love the way you put things lmao...... |

Re: 1998 ezgo txt please help
If you want to call 20 years of working on Golf Cars guessing , then sure it's a guess.
Keep in mind, I am trying to diagnose a cart based on what the OP has posted, I have not physically put hands or eyes on the cart. If it were in my shop I would have a definitive answer in a matter of minutes, That is why I proposed a quick check for the OP to do to confirm my "guess". |

I am buying a golf cart Shop or in the process. Can I come here to ask the pros for advice or can I get Clemsons direct line for advice.

Rabbit - I guess you are probably right based upon 6 or 8 years of sharing keyboard tech support with you.

JDixon...... I have run a golf cart shop for the past 11 years and I still come here to ask those that know more than I do..... not as often as I used to , but the wealth of knowledge from SOME of the members here is what keeps me coming back...... |
