Ammeter not working on Total Charge 3
The ammeter on my Total Charge 3 is not working at all. (1994 Medalist 36volt)
The charger does come on when hooked up to the cart and I have confirmed it is charging by checking the voltage before (32volts) and after connecting the charger. (39.4volts) I know my batteries need to be replaced. Is there any way to test the ammeter? Thanks |

Substitution or placing another ammeter in series are about the only ways to test an ammeter.
Unfortunately, the amp range on most handheld multi-meters don't go high enough to test a 30A meter. Fortunately, 30A DC ammeters can be found for less than $10. https://www.google.com/search?q=anal...utf-8&oe=utf-8 |
