As I live in an HOA too I feel your pain... HOA can take issue with the most stupid and petty of things. Luckily our HOA has no restriction on the parking of golf carts outside or cars unless it is found to be unused for months at a time. Oddly enough we are a marina based HOA but can't have trailers for longer than 2 weeks at our home. In truth I guess we are lucky we even fly flags and cut our grass any time of the day/week...

have no garage so cart sleeps outside all year round . that most likely the reason i'm on my second set of seat covers, florida sun eats everything .

Thanx for all the responses. I live in Florida so its a matter of rain and sun thats bothering me. Good to know that a little cover can be sufficient. Prop. go with a car port extention eventually.

It is on the same pad in the garage as my motorcycle used to be on. :( Sold the bike after my daughters were born so there was space available to be filled.

My boss had a 60x120 building built a couple years ago near the dealership for his toys. It's near the entrance to my neighborhood, so I keep the cart there when not in the toy hauler. It get's to live with his 4 boats, jet skis, Polaris, 1970 SS Chevelle, and other toys. It's climate controlled.

I have 2 garages and a carport. Golf carts, mowers, motorcycle, etc. stay inside.
Cars and trucks handle the elements a lot better than carts.
