Default Lookin to install 12v reducer

I have 2014 Ezgo txt electric coming this week. I’m looking for suggestions on components to install a 48v-12v reducer . I’d like to get some germinal banks so that once installed I will have terminals to wire up 12v accessories easily once I figure out what I want. The dealer is putting in the headlights which he says does not use a reducer.
(Yea, will give me puling an unbalanced load off a 16v Tap )

I’m an electrical Engineer so I’m comfortable holding all this up myself.

Replaced the second made in china one with one from DPI. Waterproof [literally submersible], non sparking, 30 amps, overload/short protection, UL listed and 2 year warranty. Been flawless so far.

Why don’t you have him install the lights but just run the wire to where the reducer will be? No sense pulling down two of your batteries when you’re going to have a reducer.

I won’t have the reducer ready to install when I get it next week and won’t have time right away but good thought. I can change it after the reducer gets put in and just run wires to my new fuse block.

Sounds good. Tell the guy you’re planning on the reducer and have him route the wires accordingly, or run them long enough. Under the driver’s side is probably a good option to place your reducer.

I ordered the dual veego.
Just realized I need some ring terminals and wire.
What size ring terminals do I use for the battery?
