Re: 2006 precedent went under water
Most likely all of the above. Sometimes the motor can be saved if it was not salt water and was quickly and thoroughly dried. Controller, MCOR, solenoid and other small electronics will seldom last due to the corrosion that starts to build on them. Just have to test them as you go along.

Re: 2006 precedent went under water
That is what I thought. Motor showed no signs of corrosion, brushes were free and clean. I'll replace other items and try motor, might get lucky.

Replace the harness. It might work now but it’s only a matter of time until electrical gremlins show up.

Re: 2006 precedent went under water
Wire harness, solenoid, controller, F&R Switch, MCOR, Tow/Run switch, keyswitch, reverse buzzer, and motor should all be replaced if it went under saltwater. IF it went under freshwater, you may be a little more lucky with the basic switches and the wire harness. Maybe even the motor, it depends on how long it was underwater and how much damage was done. I've disassembled them and dried them out before, replaced the bearing, and they worked great. It all depends on your situation.

Thanks Guys for your help. Cart went in a freshwater pond. Took the motor apart no sign of rust or corrosion brushes were free, put it back on the cart.
