Cart died after spinning wheels on wet grass
I recently determined that my obc has gone bad so I have bypassed the obc in order to charge my 48 volt battery pack. Bypass worked fine and I was able to charge the batteries for use. I played 18 holes today with plenty of battery power. However on the last hole it had started raining and the grass was a little wet. I had not lost any battery power up to this point. As I was going up the side of a small hill in the rough my drive wheels spun out briefly and I heard a noise and the cart died. Since I had not lost any speed or battery power during my round I assume there is another problem that caused the cart to quit running. It is also more than a coincidence that it died while the wheels spun out on the wet grass. Can anyone help me diagnose this problem? Does my electric motor have a reset button that might have tripped? I am stumped!

Could be a lot of things. Might have just gotten something wet. How long has it sat now? Is it drying out?

Did you have your gas pedal to the floor with the motor spinning wide open? A over revved the motor?

No reset button. What year and Model cart do you have - Post your serial # if you can.
I am thinking you lost your solenoid or a cable, but to soon to tell without more information. |
