Battery Conversion
I have read a lot of post about converting my 2007 cart from 4x12 to 6x8. I see that there has been a few older ones done 2004's and 05's. My question is did you by pass the obc if you didn't is anyone running ver 2.06? I already started modifying my battery box so I am committed at this point just was looking for more info if I should use my factory PD2 charger or a new summit.

Re: Battery Conversion
The factory battery conversion kit comes with a brand new OBC for your 8 Volt batteries. If you chose to use a Lester Summit charger you can break down the conversion kit and order all of the items individually, minus the OBC and come out cheaper. Then you could bypass the OBC circuit and use a Summit. You can go either way. But either way, you're gonna get nice new stuff.
