Default Can of worms

I feel like opening up the most talked about debate!

WHO makes the best speed/torque motor and why?! Not just performance but quality as well!

For a 2017 Precedent..

There are a lot of good ones. Admiral, Plum quick rebuilds, AMD, and D&D to name a few.

For new speed/torque motors, I have personally only used D&D and AMD (advanced motors and drives.) they have both been great motors.

I believe EMP should be considered in that group also.

D&D is working well for me. All the speed/torque I need for my application.

Plum Quick, but the FSIP and D&D are terrific motors. I just like how Robby and team engineer and manufacture right here in the good ole USA! (And they can customize to meet your needs)

And generally speaking, there is no "real" such thing as a speed/torque motor. They are incrementally different in design. A true torque motor sacrifices speed and vice versa for a speed motor. Now there are combo types that offer a little of both, but they are not considered a true speed or torque and will not perform as well in either category against specifically built motors.

This is a hard one to vote on because all of them have their place. The Plum Quick and EMP motors are custom motors, so I don't feel that they should be included in the poll with the other motors that are ready to go right off the shelf. With that being said, I think D&D and Admiral both build a fantastic Series motor, but the Admiral is expensive because it's imported, so the China tariff drives up the price. The same performance can be had from a D&D series motor, for lesser cost. As for Regen/Sepex motors, we've been selling the FSIP motors for going on two years now with a 0% warranty/return rate. That can't be said for any other brand. So they get my vote.
