Default ERIC Charger for 2014 Club Car

We had a storm roll through last night and today I noticed my charger making a "clicking sound" sounding like it was coming from the black box area where the charging receptacle cable comes out. There is nothing on the charger that looks like I could repair it like I did my old Power II charger. Any help on a cheap fix or replacement.
Thanks in advance guys,
Brad Rockwell

Have you unplugged it for 15 minutes to reset it? Unplug it from the wall and the cart.

If that doesn’t change anything remove the cover over the charge cord where it goes into the charger.
With the AC cord Unplugged, plug the DC cord into the cart and then check for voltage at the terminals on the charger end of the charge cord. This should be the same as pack voltage. If it is not there could be a bad wire or poor connection at the charge receptacle, or poor connection at the positive charge wire on the main pack positive terminal in the cart.

If voltage at the charger matches pack voltage, (48v+) and the charger still doesn’t turn on, the charger is dead and needs to be replaced.
Lester Summit II is one of the best on the market right now and comes with a 4 year warranty.
For a less expensive option look at the Modz Max chargers on amerzon or the bay.

had you already conceded to have to replace it before you did? Everything I've seen says not to take apart

was hoping something inside was fixable , but when I saw the board it was over....got one of these as a replacement.....

would rather have had the summit II so I could charge both my carts but this was a cheaper alternative.....(and all the wifey would allow)
