Speedometers
Anyone have a speedometer with voltage indicator that does NOT use GPS for speed? I've seen the Ex-Ray versions but wondering if there is anything different that would look nicer in a Club Car Precedent install.

It is jerry rigged in right now, I already have 12v for the wiper at the top of the windshield and wanted to see how it worked. It uses a micro USB connector for power and I have a small 12v converter module ordered. I will be making a mounting case for it that will bolt to the roof rail which will include a voltmeter display next to it and will need 2 more wires for 48v. It works well up on the roof rail because down on the dash is further out of view. |

Re: Speedometers
I use a GPS based unit like the one R&T pictured. My daily is an 87' Nissan D21 rat pickup truck with no working speedo. I use one in there. It runs off a USB car charger in the cig lighter. Works great.
In all honesty a GPS based unit like that is the way to go. Can't get more accurate for under $25. |
