Default High Speed Magnet Compatibility and Benefits with a Regen Motor

I've read mixed answers on this question and trying to clarify.

Would a high speed motor magnet give any speed benefit on a stock regen motor (motor model: EJ8-4001A) from a 2018 Club Car Precedent I2 with the stock 250A Curtis controller? 18" tires, no lift, flat pavement driving.

Would that speed benefit (if any) be lost if I upgraded to an Alltrax 400a setup with the same stock motor?

I don’t know about the alltrax, but I’ve got a 2008 DS IQ that’s stock everything with a speed magnet. Still does whatever hills around me fine (though that would be improved with an alltrax). But gained a lot of speed. It did 20-22mph on flat pavement with just the magnet.

I’ve since upgraded the batteries to lithium and it improved the torque considerably due to less weight. And improved speeds to 23-25mph on flat pavement. Still stock motor and 250A Curtis controller.

I’m very happy with the $30 investment.

If you're referring to a 4 pole magnet, the Precedent already has that. It wouldn't change anything.

Speed magnets don't work on excel carts like yours only IQ carts...(Second digit of the serial # is Q)...

I've been reading that the Plum Quick motor will increase the speed of Excel Carts. I wonder if it is because Plum Quick grinds away half of the magnet leaving only one set of magnetic poles??? I wish I would have saved that picture of PQ's ground magnet.
