Default 2004 DS struggles after using it for a while

So I have a 2004 DS
Six month old Trojan batteries and an onboard Lester 2 charger. The cart is lifted six inches with 23x10.5 tires
Stock motor and controller, 6 x 8v batteries

After I use the golf cart for a short time it will struggle on any inclines, even very small ones.
When I use the Lester app it says the batteries have 75% charge and my volt meter is reading around 51.x volts. I have always kept water in the batteries.

Any thoughts on what I should check?

Thanks

12v or 8v batteries?

Stock motor? Controller?
Gonna have a hard time pushing anything up a hill with stock electrics.

Stock motor and controller. 48v 8v batteries..

To clarify, it’s always worked just fine and when I mean inclined it’s only the most minor incline. I live in Florida and it’s just the natural dips in my yard.

When this happens, look under seat and feel for anything hot....may have resistance somewhere.
